Tour Memory: It was June of ‘90. I was in the San Francisco Airport on my way to the Eugene, Oregon shows when I looked up and saw Jerry. I went over and introduced myself and told him I played in a band that played Grateful Dead music. He smiled and said 'Oh yeah? So do I.' We laughed and spoke for a short while. I did get his blessings to keep playing the Dead’s stuff. He just said 'Do a good job of it.'
