Tour Memory: This is the Dead show I’ll never forget. Early in the first set they started playing the opening riff to “He’s Gone.” A guy a few rows behind me started screaming, “This one’s for Pig. This one’s for Pig!” It was bittersweet, but sweet nonetheless. I remember every one in the house singing with Jerry, “Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile… He’s gone.” Very poignant.
